Flexible Booking policy during Covid-19
A 25% deposit will confirm your room. Your final balance (75%) can be paid in full upon arrival. If you are unable to make it here due to travel restrictions or illness, you can transfer your 25% deposit at any time prior to your vacation start date, to any future vacation with us up to December 31, 2021.
CANCELLATION POLICIES
Short notice cancellations, no-shows & early check-outs do not give us adequate time to re-book a room. This can have a devastating impact on a small hotel.
Prepayments and cancellation fees are based on the length of stay originally booked & will be automatically charged to credit card provided. Guests will be charged a non-refundable prepayment of 2 nights/stay/deposit of the total price at the time of booking (which will be deducted from your final bill). In case of booking cancellation we refund 50% of your deposit up to 2 months prior to the date of arrival and 25% up to 1 month prior to your arrival date.
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT
All deposits are non-refundable. In order to confirm a reservation, the hotel requires a non-refundable prepayment of 2-nights stay of the total price at the time of booking (which will be deducted from your final bill). The charge will appear on your statement as Catalinas Hideaway. A room is not considered booked until credit card information has been taken and email confirmation sent.
These policies are considered final. The hotel does not offer refunds. We reserve the right to apply all conditions. Our Hotel Cancellation Policy applies to all reservations taken online, by phone, email, booking engine or in-person. All cancellations must be given in writing. No exceptions.
NO-SHOWS DUE TO TRAVEL DELAYS ARE CONSIDERED TO BE A CANCELLATION.

HOTEL POLICIES & INFORMATION
Check-in: 3:00 p.m.Check-out: 12:00 p.m.
Breakfast: is served in our restaurant from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and on additional costs. Breakfast is NOT included in the room rate.
Maximum occupancy per room: 2-4 persons, according to room design.
Room rates are based on up to two people for The Treehouse and The Inn. The rates for our Beachfront and Garden Casitas are based on 2 adults plus 2 kids up to the age of 16. If you plan on booking those accommodations with more than 2 adults, we charge $25 per person. We do NOT offer any extra beds.
Internet rates and our walk-in rates differ from our standard rack rates and may not be combined with other promotional offers and discounts, including those established by law. All discounts are deducted from our standard rack rates.
Any booking change requests must be given in writing, are subject to hotel approval and are only valid if hotel confirms via email.
Extra beds are not available. When you arrive, if there are more guests in your party than what is stated in the confirmation, and that number exceeds the maximum occupancy of the room, we will not be able to accommodate your entire party unless there is another room available.
All rates are subject to 10% ATP Tax. All bar, room, extra charges subject to a 7% goods & services tax.
Late check-out:Our regular check/out time is by noon. If you wish to stay longer aside the pool area or in our restaurant, it is free of charge. We keep your luggage till your final departure.
Smoking: BY LAW (Executive Decree number 1838 of December 5, 2014) ALL hotel property, indoor and outdoor, is non-smoking (including e-cigarettes). If a guest smokes in their room, a fine of $5,000 can potentially be levied by the Panamanian government and an automatic cleaning fee of $300 will be charged to the credit card used to book the stay.
Pets: We are unable to accept pets.
Accidents/Missing Items: The hotel cannot be held responsible for accidents or lost or missing items.
Unacceptable Behaviour: Any unacceptable behaviour will result in immediate removal from premises (plus forfeiture of entire cost of reservation).
Fees for damage to room and/or property, loss (including remote controls and all keys) and missing items will be charged to Guest’s credit card.
